Programs and Divisions

We are proud to offer programs for children ages 3 through 18. Learn more about a few of our programs below.

EPIC Division - for players with special needs

Core Program 

Teams are formed late July. With the exception of the 4U and 5U divisions, the number of teams in each division will based on the number of parents who are willing to become "Registered Volunteers" (includes background checks) to Coach and Referee. This cannot be emphasized enough. Please give some consideration into making a difference in the lives of the children in our community.

For our Fall 2023 Core Program we will be offering the following divisions:

4U – Your child was born during 2020 (January - September)
5U – Your child was born during 2019

These two divisions are a Soccer Jamboree program. There are fun games geared to teach your child basic soccer skills and at the end of the session they get to have a scrimmage. You will get to participate with your child in what will be a fun time for you and your child. There are no practices during the week. The program is run Saturday mornings at Rio Norte Junior High.

The season is expected to begin Saturday, September 9th and end early November (exact dates subject to change).

6U Boys and 6U Girls - Your child was born during 2018

Your child will be playing on a team in a non-competitive division. The teams will practice once a week at a time and a location determined by their coach who will be a parent like you. Games will be on Saturdays at either Rio Norte Junior High School or Arroyo Seco Junior High School. Games will be scheduled to begin in the mornings and may continue into the early afternoon depending on the number of teams and field space.

Practices should begin mid-August with games beginning on Saturday, September 9t and ending Saturday, November 18th.

7U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2017
8U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2016

Your child will continue playing on a team in a non-competitive either 7U or a 8U division depending on the year they were born. These teams will also practice once a week at a time and a location determined by their coach who will be a parent like you. Games will be on Saturdays at either Rio Norte Junior High School or Arroyo Seco Junior High School. Games will be scheduled to begin in the mornings and may continue into the afternoons depending on the number of teams and field space.

Practices should begin mid-August with games beginning on Saturday, September 9th  and ending Saturday, November 18th .

10U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2015 or 2014
12U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2013 or 2012

This is where the competition starts. There are normally two practices per week at a time and a location determined by their coach who will be a parent like you. Games will also be at both Arroyo Seco Junior High and Rio Norte Junior High throughout your Saturday. The competitive season will end with a post season tournament at the end of the regular season. The number of teams that qualify for post season play will be determined by the Board of Directors and the Sportsmanship demonstrated by each team throughout the season There is a Santa Clarita AYSO post season tournament in January 2023. Teams from the Region’s post season tournament may advance further to this tournament to compete against Valencia, Canyon and Castaic. Winners of that tournament may advance to "Sectional Play" in Bakersfield in February 2023.

Practices should begin mid- with games beginning on Saturday, September 9th and ending Saturday, November 18th. The post season tournament will begin after Thanksgiving weekend.

14U Boys and Girls – Your child was born during 2011 or 2010

The regular season will be played on Friday nights and Saturdays. Yes, you read it correctly, the popular Friday night games will be played at Central Park. In 14U, the Region will be playing teams from Castaic, Canyon Country and Valencia. The Saturday games will be at the Home Region’s 14U facility. In our case, it will be Central Park. The competitive season will end with a post season tournament at the end of the regular season. The number of teams that qualify for post season play will be determined by the Board of Directors and the Sportsmanship demonstrated by each team throughout the season. There is a Santa Clarita AYSO post season tournament in January 2023. Teams from the Region’s post season tournament may advance further to this tournament to compete against Valencia, Canyon and Castaic. Winners of that tournament may advance to "Sectional Play" in Bakersfield in February 2023. As with the other age groups, the time and the place of the two practices during the week are decided by the coach.

Practices should begin mid-August with games beginning on Friday evening, September 8th and ending Saturday, November 18th. The post season tournament will begin after Thanksgiving weekend.


16U Boys and Girls - Your child was born during 2009 or 2008
19U Boys and Girls - Your child was born during 2007, 2006 or 2005

There will be an area-wide league with these divisions. Practices should being mid-August. More information to come.
